Chapter One: "Born into the Chinese nation, serving the Chinese people"
130 years ago, why did Mr. Chang Bishi choose to establish China's first industrialized wine making enterprise in Yantai - Changyu?
The story begins with the legendary life of Chang Bishi, the father of Chinese wine.
The Jakarta cocktail party in 1871 ignited Zhang Bishi's dream of founding China's first wine company.
At that time, the Dutch colonial authorities wanted to win over with rewards, and Zhang Bishi candidly said, "Born as the Chinese nation, we should serve the Chinese people.".
In 1892, Chang Bishi was invited to return to his home country and invested 3 million taels of silver to establish the Changyu Company in Yantai. This was the enterprise that Mr. Lao had invested the most effort, had the most profound impact, and is still operating healthily today.
Although starting from scratch,Chang Yu made up his mind to introduce wine grapes from abroad three times, hire winemakers, and spend 11 years building an underground wine cellar.
After continuous attempts, in 1899, Chang Yu finally produced China's first bottle of wine. After 15 years, in 1914, Chang Yu brewed China's first bottle of brandy.
Chapter 2: "Ancestor's Products Must Become World Famous Brands"
The Chinese wine industry started from scratch, facing difficulties and twists, but soon ushered in a shining moment.
In 1915, Chang Yu made his debut on the international stage and won four major gold medals.
Upon hearing this good news, Chang Bishi exclaimed excitedly, "The people of Tang are amazing. As long as they work hard and catch up, their ancestors' products will become world famous brands!"
Numerous government officials, cultural celebrities, and entertainment stars from the Republic of China have also praised Chang Yu.
Chapter Three: "Let the People Drink More Wine"
Time has entered the new China, and Changyu has ushered in a new stage of development.
Under the care of Party and state leaders such as Chairman Mao Zedong and Premier Zhou Enlai, Zhang Yu and the Chinese wine industry have made significant progress.
Chapter Four: Chang Yu's Continuous Improvement
The reform and opening up have opened the door to interaction between China and the world, and the constantly advancing Changyu continues to make new and greater contributions to the Chinese wine industry.
Chapter Five: Passing the World and Loving China More
What is the status of Changyu and Chinese wine in the world today?
In Chapter Five, visitors can intuitively feel that Changyu and Chinese wine can confidently and confidently face the world.
In 2002, Changyu established China's first professional winery - Yantai Changyu Castor Winery, ushering in the era of high-end Chinese wine. At present, Changyu has established 14 specialized wineries worldwide, with a 250000 acre grape base, making it one of the most widely distributed wine enterprises in the world.
Today, Changyu wine can be purchased in more than 70 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Canada, Argentina, etc. The world is increasingly fond of "Chinese red".
Among the top ten wine companies in the world, Changyu is one of only two century old enterprises. Its scale ranks fourth in the world and its brand value ranks second in the world.
As John Stimpfit, editor in chief of the internationally renowned wine magazine Decanter, said, "The progress made by Changyu is astonishing. The era of Chinese wine is coming, which will have a huge impact on the entire wine world!"
Chairman Wang Qi stated that this Time Art Exhibition, starting from Yantai, the origin of China's wine industrialization, is a journey of seeking roots that never forgets its original intention. It is also an innovative move by Changyu to continue promoting Chinese wine culture and advocating a wine lifestyle. I hope there are more leading enterprises like Changyu who are brave enough to take on responsibilities and take action, and make the public brand of "Chinese wine" stronger and louder!
It is worth mentioning that in addition to the precious images of the Time Art Exhibition, Chang Yu also prepared a rich and colorful interactive experience on site: the internet celebrity check-in points decorated with neon lightbox fonts are very suitable for concave shaped photography; After the exhibition, you can participate in the mini program's QR code lottery and taste delicious wine and food; You can also experience a slightly tipsy night music cocktail party, connecting the five senses of "vision, hearing, taste, smell, and touch", and immerse yourself in the beautiful lifestyle of wine.
