Recently, the happy journey of Xinhua News Agency reporter to study in Yantai has successfully ended. The first batch of Xinhua reporters visited Yantai, Shandong to explore Yantai culture and appreciate the unique charm of "Shanhai Wonderland · Wine City"!

On the morning of August 25, 2017, Liaocheng Xinhua News Agency arrived at the Changyu Liquor Culture Museum with great anticipation. As soon as they entered the door, Xinhua reporters smelled the strong aroma of grape wine and saw the "bottles, jars, and barrels" inside the museum, which were incredibly novel. They all eagerly followed the guide to unveil their mysterious veil.

Firstly, under the guidance of the guide, the reporter went to the underground wine cellar. According to the guide, the wine cellar was first built in 1894, took 11 years, and was completed in 1905. The wine cellar covers an area of 2666 square meters, with a depth of 7 meters, one meter below sea level. Hundreds of oak barrels, including the Asian Barrel King, are neatly arranged inside the cellar. "Wow!" Xinhua reporters were amazed at this spectacular scene. The commentator told Xinhua News Agency that the wine cellar is warm in winter and cool in summer, with constant temperature throughout the four seasons and a natural temperature of around 14 degrees Celsius, which is very beneficial for the aging of the wine!

There are three huge oak barrels hidden deep in the wine cellar, which are the treasure of the town - the Asian Barrel King. These three oak barrels each store 15000 liters of wine, which is 15 tons, and can hold 20000 bottles of wine.

The Xinhua reporter visited the early wine making process and watched the scene of the workers working hard, which deeply infected them.

Xinhua reporters carefully listened to the winemaker's explanation, learned about the wine making process and techniques, and exclaimed, "Brands come from precision!". The comprehensive hall features three reliefs showcasing significant events and important figures that have influenced the development of Changyu in different historical periods. There are themed reliefs, historical reliefs, and modern reliefs, in which Xinhua News Agency truly feels the weightiness of a century old corporate culture.

After the visit, Xinhua reporter interviewed the staff of the museum and asked, "How is wine stored? What are the benefits of drinking wine for people?" Faced with various questions, the commentator smiled patiently and answered them one by one for Xinhua reporter.

Finally, the staff of the Changyu Wine Culture Museum carefully prepared small gifts for each Xinhua journalist~~
