As the first professional wine museum in China, the Changyu Wine Culture Museum has formed a scientific cultural value system. When visitors enter the museum, they can learn about Chang Yu and wine culture through interactive visits, explanation services, Q&A, and cultural popularization. On this basis, our museum utilizes its unique wine professional resources, and through the collection warehouse, facilities and equipment conditions, as well as certain storage, appraisal, maintenance and restoration techniques, we are open to the public and accept commissions from units and individuals to store and manage wine and various art collections on our behalf. At the same time, utilizing Chang Yu's abundant resources, we provide consultation and assistance to the public on information inquiry, collection identification, collection maintenance, and restoration. The system is now announced as follows:

 

1、 Responsibilities
Our comprehensive office is responsible for providing management and supervision of public service work such as entrusted storage, appraisal, maintenance, repair, and consultation.

 

2、 Collection storage and custody service system
1. If the collection stored or entrusted for safekeeping is a cultural relic, it must be a legitimate collection with the qualification to collect cultural relics.
2. The ownership of collectibles stored or entrusted for safekeeping remains unchanged, and collectors can retrieve the collectibles at any time.
3. If a collection that is stored or entrusted for safekeeping is exhibited at the Changyu Wine Culture Museum , the consent of the collector should be obtained and the identity of the collector should be indicated in the exhibition.
4. The Changyu Wine Culture Museum can provide free storage, appraisal, maintenance, and restoration services for collections that are stored or entrusted for safekeeping. At the same time, our museum enjoys the copyright, research rights, and display rights of the stored or entrusted collections.
5. The collector and the Changyu Wine Culture Museum have entered into relevant storage and custody agreements in accordance with the law on a voluntary basis; All collections stored or entrusted for safekeeping should undergo appraisal and review by relevant experts from the Changyu Wine Culture Museum before signing the agreement. They can only be stored after the appraisal is completed and the agreement is signed.
6. Storage does not accept hazardous materials such as corrosive and radioactive materials; Other items that may endanger the safety of cultural relics.
7. Once the collections stored or entrusted for safekeeping are put into storage, they must be strictly managed in accordance with our library's regulations.

 

3、 Identification system for entrusted storage of collections
1. Our comprehensive office conducts statistics on the entrusted collection. If it involves cultural relics, it is necessary to report to the higher-level cultural relics administrative department and request the appraisal of the entrusted cultural relics.
2. After approval by the superior department, the storage department shall organize the source, material, and purpose of each entrusted cultural relic for identification purposes.
3. Our museum sets a time and organizes an appraisal team to conduct appraisal on the cultural relics under its management. During appraisal, a dedicated person shall record and provide appraisal opinions for each entrusted cultural relic.
4. After appraisal, the entrusted cultural relics shall be submitted to the provincial and municipal cultural and tourism bureaus for approval.
5. The approved entrusted cultural relics enjoy the same preservation conditions as the collections of this museum.

 

4、 The public service system for the maintenance, repair, and consultation of entrusted storage collections
1. The scope of maintenance, consultation, and assistance services for managing cultural relics collections mainly includes precious historical relics collections from various eras.
2. The maintenance, repair, and consulting personnel responsible for managing collections are all professionals familiar with our library's business.
3. Personnel providing consultation and assistance services to the public must have a friendly attitude, use civilized language, and strictly abide by professional ethics and discipline when receiving consultations.
4. The public can make an appointment through WeChat official account if they need to consult the historical data on wine. The appointment and inquiry time are the same as the opening time.
5. All books and materials in the library are not allowed to be lent out, and the public can provide assistance such as photocopying if needed.
